Creating Events
Events are the core of SalesCal - they represent the appointment types that prospects can book with you.
Creating a New Event

- Click Create Event
- Fill in the required fields:
- Event Name: A clear, descriptive name (e.g., "30-Minute Discovery Call")

Best Practices
Event Naming
- Be specific: "30-Min Strategy Call" vs. "Call"
- Include duration if you have multiple similar events
- Use action words: "Discovery Session", "Product Demo"
Descriptions
- Keep it brief (2-3 sentences)
- Explain what the prospect will get from the call
- Set expectations about who should book
Duration
- Discovery calls: 15-30 minutes
- Strategy sessions: 45-60 minutes
- Demos: 30-45 minutes
- Consultations: 60+ minutes
